I had the Da Vinci cue tip put on my Meucci cue. The Da Vinci cue tip does not hold the chalk as it should. I use only Silver Cup chalk.

Increased cue ball control

I have used the Elk Master Soft Cue Tips (QTELK-13) for many years but finally decided to take the plunge and try a higher quality tip. I purchased a Da Vinci Multi Layer Cue Tip - Soft (LC421) and have been astounded with the increased cue ball control. I had thought a tip was a tip but I was totally wrong. I have three shooting ques and a break cue. I guarantee my next oZone order will include at least two more high quality tips for the other two shooting ques and go whole hog with the Kamui Black Laminated Leather Tips - Super Soft (QTKABSS). It only comes at 14mm and all my ferrules are 13mm which will require some hand trimming before using the Porper's "Cut-Rite" Tip Shaper/Cutter (TTPCR1) to finish the tip trimming.

This tip plays okay for a new player,but would not really be used by an advanced player.
