I got one of these and a 9 ball one just to spend the last of a gift certificate. My wife likes them because if they drop on the carpet the chalk won't hit the ground. But it does make for a little bit harder to chalk a cue correctly. Still a fun addition, it was worth it to me for free.

Bought some Diamond chalk and didn't want to lose it. This made it easily identifiable as no one else in the place had this. A must if you are going to have your own chalk!

it's a nice item, however u have to be careful with the back part cause it falls of if u are harsh with it.... otherwise if ur careful it's good.

nice looking and does its job the problem is when you rub chalk on your tip the small hole edges rubs it don't use.

I don't love this item. Because of the way I chalk the plastic edge on this item keeps scuffing the tip and removing the chalk I just applied. So what I did was remove the slide out bottom, reverse the chalk, slide a piece of folder paper between the chalk side and the holder to keep it in place. When I have it in my case I slide the plastic "bottom" back on which keeps the chalk from getting all over the inside of my bag. I would not buy another of these.
