Fast shipping, reasonable price. I would indeed recommend the conversion top! Purchased along with the table cover, the insert is stiff enough to serve as a table top, but just shy of snug. We own an 8ft pool table and the insert is short by 2 inches. Centered, it leaves a noticeable gap, but it serves its purpose well enough.

This product is light and does what is suppose to - give me a tabletop option for my pool table. While the fit is not tight to the bumpers, combine this with a leatherette cover and it perfect. This product arrived within 4 business days and I highly recommend this product. Great company with products that work. Thank you!

Excellent firmness to put things on top of... very light... will store underneath the pool table when not using!! It is about an inch short all around, but still works well.

Not for Dynamo 7'-4" table

I ordered this (8' cover) and I hoped it would fit. I have a 7'-4" x 3'-6" 1980's Dynamo table. This insert was about 2" too wide for that table. Didn't take it out of the plastic so I can't say much more than that.
If you have an 8' table, this insert will not be exact to the playing surface (inside the rails), it will be a bit smaller by a few inches all around, which may be OK for you.
I returned it and got a full refund, thank you Ozone. It cost me $50 just to ship it back, so beware of that cost.

I just want to say how very satisfied I am with the pool table insert. Several people have mentioned that it did not cover the whole table. It is made just right. You should get a cover if you do not have one. Once the insert is placed on the table and it is covered it looks fabulous. I use mine as a table top all of the time. Then when I want to play pool, I just remove the cover and insert. It is very sturdy but light weight. Would I recommend Ozone, yes! Would I purchase from them again, Yes! Fast and efficient service. Thank You!

Perfect for My Baby Shower!

I ordered this insert to hopefully have a nice large table for the baby shower I was hosting. I was not disappointed! Covered it with a king size flat sheet, then angled a pretty table cloth, and I had a magnificent table that held everything (for once)! The nice part is... it folds flat for simple storage. I was very pleased.

Functional Pool Table Insert

Product functions perfectly: covers the billiard table top and protects it fine. I was a little surprised that the insert was so short. I have at least 1 - 1.5 inches of space between the table bumpers and the edge of the insert. Otherwise it is a good product.

PERFECT!!! Exactly what I was looking for to convert my pool table into a dining room table! Keep in mind that I have an 8 foot table and there is nothing to fill the pockets and there is a small gap as its not completely snug, but it definitely does the trick. My suggestion is to buy a pool table cover if you don't have one already and then put a table cloth over that if you're trying to convert to a dining room table. Well worth the price as it folds up for easy storage when not being used for a table and extremely lightweight being made out of foam, yet very durable.

Fit is somewhat smaller than advertised, but work OK. Very rigid foam does provide a safe work surface. The $138 cost seem rather high, but is cheaper than purchasing another table and allows the pool table to be used for multiple purposes.

We ordered this table insert for a party we were having and needed more space for food. The insert is very sturdy and was able to hold many platters and 2 chafing dishes. There is about a 2 inch gap between the rail and insert but it was no problem.

Received this item promptly and the price was considerable less than at our local store. The pad is exactly as we expected. There is a small amount of space all around when the pad is placed on the pool table. Don't think it is much of a problem. You just get the pad; you have to use some kind of plastic cover to put over it to protect the rest of the table.

I ordered the correct size for my table and the dimensions of the pad are much smaller than I believe necessary. There is about a 1/2 inch gap between the bumper and the rail which creates a small problem when using as a dining table. Not a big problem, but I think the pad could be much closser to the actual table size.
