The Butler Plantation Cherry Hexagonal Game Table represents Butler's tribute to tradition... to the classics of Western culture... from the timeless 18th century designs of Chippendale, Sheraton and Hepplewhite, to the best furniture in the finest homes when Americans declared their independence. Examine closely the fine woods, veneers, inlays and finishes of this piece. This game table features selected solid woods, wood products, and choice veneers. The matched cherry veneer top has a removable circular insert of matched cherry veneers with inlaid chess board of maple and walnut veneers. The other side of insert is laminated green felt for card playing. Cup holder inserts are at each corner and there are three English dovetail drawers with antique brass finished hardware.
