Works great, very handy to clip onto your pants, therefore you always have your chalk with you and don't have to use the bars or even look for it. The retractable feature makes it all the better.

Sometimes when i chalk the side of the rubber just wipes off the chalk from my tip.
Has a good length of reach, but it can easily snap.

I order several of these at one time and pass them out to my team and friends. It's so handy to have it connected to you rather than trying to remember where you left it. I use mine so much that the string ends up wearing out after several months, but for the price, it's worth it.

This chalker extends to about 3 feet in lenght which is plently long enough to reach your cue tip. It clips to your belt or pocket and is alway within reach. It's a good product.

With this item, I don't have to look for chalk and don't have to worry about knocking chalk onto the felt either! I wish the tension was a little less and I don't understand why but, the "8" on the reel isn't an 8-ball "8"! It's a script-style "8". I put a little folded piece of paper towel behind the chalk to push it out a bit so I could stroke the chalk across the cue instead of drilling into the chalk.

This is a great item. I've owned a few of these in the past 2-3 yrs. The convenience and comfort of having it attached to your person makes chalking up between shots a breeze but the string lacks durability. It does breakdown and break eventually. I've purchased 3-4 replacements. I at one point had a friend rig this so the chalk end was attached to the Lighter Holders out there that retract the same way but that broke after about 8 months too. I guess the string lacks durability for all items like this. I still keep buying new ones if that says anything.

I really love the idea of this product. A feature I like about the product is that it can clip on to your shirt and works good for me because sometimes I wear pants without pockets. I also like knowing just where my chalk is. That way when I am sizing up the shots I can subconsciously be chalking the cue tip. I love using it. The "drawback" is the retractable string begins to fray and becomes very thin and ends up breaking after using it just a few months. A tiny retractable cable would solve the issue. I bought 3 of these. I gave one to my husband. he had the same experience. I am using the third one and finding the string is "thinning" like the others.

After one day of use the cord started to have a problem going back in all the way, it takes some time to get it working again. Other than that its a great item I love not having to walk back to the other side of the table to grab my chalk.

My wife got this chalk box retractable belt clip for fun, but it turned out to be very practical. I was always losing my chalk box as it got got smaller and smaller as I used it AND it always seemed to be on the opposite side of the room from when I needed to 'chalk up'. Now it's with me, clipped to my belt/pants and the retractable cord makes it always easy to use. Great practical and fun item.
