Twin shafts in play
February 14, 2013
The fiberglass coating on the shaft protects the shaft from nicks and dents strikingly. I have had my share of accidentally knocking the shaft againts the rail, the over lamp, etc. Certainly have spared me from a lot of distress. There is no extensive cleaning when as you do on a wooden shaft; just wipe with cloth or wipe with cloth, water, and soap. Neat! You can play without the glove, but not on humid days; however, I play with gloves all times. Be careful of the veltex grip, if you knock the veltex you will get a chip/nick and that mars the elegant jet black "wrap." The greenish blue stain forearm is very easy on the eyes with no distraction from points and diamonds. This is my second cue of this type and they both play equally with the same feel. This makes me very secure in my cues.
