Racks tight and the thumb tabs lifts the rack away without disturbing the balls.

I love this rack for 8 ball
By Lawrence from Church Hill, TN on April 6, 2011

this is a good rack for 8 ball. Takes a little getting used to but gets a good tight rack. I find it a bit to awkward for racking 9 ball and use a more triditional rack for that.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Clever new rack, easy to use.

It takes a bit of practice to learn to use this rack, but once mastered, it is the easiest I have used. It even works well on the well used tables in my local clubhouse.
The trick is to rest one's palms on the sides of the rack while setting the balls. Use your thumbs to arrange the balls pushing gently forward in the rack and downward into the cloth. Then use the heals of your palms to rotate the tip of the rack upward.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Great Ball Rack
By James Lanier from Rapid City on September 25, 2010

Very well built rack. I've bought a wood rack and had it brake on me but this rack is pretty strong. I love it's simple design. Very easy to make a tight rack.

Not what I had hoped for.

The rack itself is well made, but I like to tighten the balls before removing the rack, and with the tapered inside front edge of Dons Rack (which makes removeing the rack from the balls a breeze!!)- tightening does not work well. Several of my buddy said they like the rack- it is just not working well for me. I am back to using the old standard wood rack.
Headline is fine with me.

Save your money unless you really need a rack. A cheap KMart rack, as long as it is a true 60 degrees, will work as well as this rack. This rack is molded at 60 degrees but is just a molded piece of plastic. There is nothing quality about it. It takes a little getting use to it. If you put any pressure forward, the balls push out the front and must be reracked. I'm using it for now, but my old rack works just as well. I was just curious when I bought it.
It Works!

This Rack Rocks!
By Ryan on May 13, 2010

I've got huge hands and getting a tight rack with the generic racks at the pool hall can be a huge pain. This rack actually has room for my gorilla paws to get in there and set the balls nice and tight. The extra bonus is the rounded back edge that eliminates any accidental contact with the balls when removing the rack. Just push the rack slightly forward and push down on the back and your set. Great product!

at first it take a little bit to get use to it, but once you do it makes it easier to keep a tight rack
FAST
By EDWIN from BUENA PARK, CALIFORNIA on February 6, 2010

THIS IS WORTH THE MONEY, IT'S FAST AND EASY TO USE!
CONS, NONE
By Glen on February 4, 2010

My expectations were low. But the design of this rack is phenomenal. It is so easy to rack the balls in a tight formation and then remove the rack without moving any of them ... perfect design. This racks better than anything on the market including that $100+ Delta 13 rack.
Easy to Use
By John from Valley Springs on January 31, 2010

My only complaint is; there is a small amount of flex when you tighten the balls in the rack. If it was made out of a light weight metal, it would be unbeatable in ease of racking the balls. Great product!
now that's a rack
By Mike from Livermore, CA on January 26, 2010

basically love it. nice tight consistent rack.
if you try to smash all the ball together like you would on a normal rack seems to have a little learning curve.
but overall very happy
Great rack
By Robert Carson from Indio, CA on December 14, 2009

This rack does pack the balls tighter. And it is easier to load; the balls don't jam due to the extra room at the back. I sink more balls on the break with this rack. The rack is made of a heavy plastic, a good quality feature. The lift off feathre works without disturbing the balls.
Pros:
I does everything they claim.Cons:

Don's the man! Best rack out there! Thanks!
By Brandon from Omaha, NE on October 26, 2009

Believe me, just buy one. There is a video somewhere on the net and it shows everything about it! You will NOT be sorry!
Pros:
Stiff thick plastic, the raised inside lip to create down pressure on the balls, and the thumb tabs with pivot bottom. Cons:
Not one.Don\'s Rack
By Dennis Nupdal on June 3, 2009

This was the best rack I ever found. I brought it to every practice night and to all my team\'s BCA League Matches last season, where it was used by all my teammates and the majority of our opponents. Unfortunately, it didn\'t survive being run over. Rest assured that I will replace it, and I will take better care of the next one!
