It's For the Nerds

As far as I've read at this point, this treatise on bar box 8 ball has been extremely enlightening. A great number of league and casual 8 ball players have probably never given any consideration to the nuances the author describes. You really have to be a real pool nerd to look at shot diagrams and note varying cue ball weights, and I love it.

This book is more of a practice book than a Bible. I think the title is mis-leading. This is a good book but I expected it to talk more about the history of the game and it doesn't. I still recommend it. And as usual Ozone is thorough and fast.

I've barely even cracked this book open, but like it. It's simple to follow and very informative with lots of graphics. While it's called the 8-ball Bible, it will definitely help your 9 ball game as well, with tips for playing on different types of tables, etc.

Should've been described as a guide to pool on bar table with a over weight cue ball. Most tournaments don't us heavy weight cue balls. It's a good read, but info is geared to strict bar room play, not league or tourney play.

An excellent book with very useful information if you're wanting to take your bar table game to another level. I play on a regulation sized table at home and needed some advice on how to adjust to the heavier ball and smaller table. This book will do that for you and more. Great service from Ozone as usual.
