I've used cue tips like the Kamui II Soft and this cue tip works just as well for a fraction of the price.

I've never had "soft" tips before, but now I know why their so popular. English and draw are way more than before. The only problem is I got the wrong size and really had to work to get the tip filed/sanded down to the right size. But they fit other sticks with no problem.

My wife's Grandfather gave me two of this tips and I put them on My Cue sticks, because the one that came with the cue stick miscued a lot. This tips are cheap and very good, lots of control and man they work excellent. I recommend this tips to people that use a lot of English. Great Tips!

Had this as a backup tip and didnt plan to use it. I had a tiger sniper, and a kamui tip prior to this. Had the center of my good tip fall out and had to use this..... And now its my tip... No more $25.00/per tip.... This tip is made for how I shoot... ((((Though I ordered 2 13mm and somehow qzone messed up and game me this tiny little thing for one of them. maybe 8 or 9mm.. lol)))) only .50c

I have experimented with the Elk Master. I prefer the Le Pro over the Elk Master. I don't like the fiber problem when shaping the Elk Master. I had to use a lighter to burn off some of the fibers. The Elk Master, Le Pro, or Triangle are all excellent cheap tips. I just can't see paying a ton of money for tips and these are well worth the money. It is all about preference.

they may have to be replaced every 3 or 4 months if you play every day, but your not gonna find a soft tip that grips better than a elkmaster!

THE SOFT CUE ADDS AN ALMOST MAGICAL AMOUNT OF CUE CONTROL BUT THE CHALK GETS ALL OVER EVERYTHING.
I use a neutral chalk so that it is easier for me to keep my set of playing balls clean and the table more easily marked for practice sessions.
These tips are delightful for soft and finese style playing but very messy. Oh well some of the very delicate shots they facilitate are more than worth it. Yes I use these instead of the more costly nes though I do need to change them more often and they can start mushrooming more quickly than some.

I used these to repair one of my cue tips and it seems fine. The economical cost allows the consumer to inventory a few for future repairs--I frankly am not the level of pool player who can distinguish between tips but this seem to be fine.

i got these because i prefer a soft tip. they provide good grip on the cue. however, they dont seem to last very long before they start to smooth out and harden. i have used picks, scuffers, and tons of chalk. it seems im changing them out about every month. but you get what you pay for.
