read the book first and don't forget to cot the extra material in the folds when doing your rails i know it is hard because it is new felt i refelted my table like a pro and it gave me a chance to glur so bad wood ect that a company would of charged me out the nose thanks again ozone billards

Very nice book. Alot of it can be gotten online,but it has a few nice tricks to make redoing your table much easier. Just be ready to spend alot of time if you picked up an older table. Especially if it is a 9 footer with 1.5 in slates. Good buy!

This book has excellent drawings and explanations. While I understand the difficulty of trying to explain so many variations of table construction, I would have appreciated a bit more info on how to remove the side rails on snooker tables.

Probably the best source available. Convinced me not to attempt me to cover my own table and leave it to the professionals. I had hoped for more information regarding table top maintenance.

I ordered the book. At first I thought "$35 for this?" It is a plain paperback, spiral bound book, but the information is well worth the price. You will easily save $35 worth of headaches if you are refurbishing a pool table.

Buy this book if you're contemplating doing any work on a table. Most importantly, buy it BEFORE you do any work. It will keep you from making mistakes & cut down your work time. Well worth the cost!
