Has not been used yet and will give first test on a layered tip. All suggested that this type of tool is best for single pressed tips, so I shall try. Most say go slow and easy on the layer tips and others say no good only use tip scuffers or a lathe. So let's see what happens then a recommendation may present itself. The device worked good, but it took a lot longer then I thought it would to shape a new tip. I also had to turn it easier instead of harder. You need to be careful, turning hard seemed to rip into the tip.

I just tried my Joe Porper cue tip shaper and so far I like it. On a scale from 1 to 10 its a 7 for me. It got me close enough to the shape I wanted the rest I touched up with sand paper. But I really thank Ozone because every place I checked the price for it , Ozone was at least 10.00 cheaper so with my extra savings I bought a new tip pick and qualified for free shipping. This thing is not at all as good as i was hoping. I used it to shape a new Moori layered tip and it ripped off half the tip. I don't trust it to use it any more.

This is the best tip shaper I have ever seen. Let it cut slowly on it's own and you will have a perfect tip as if it were from the factory. Used it on my Viking 13 mm and it was great. Went to a sports bar and did a couple house cues , it worked the same. Wonderful keep up the good work ! Shipping was the fastest I'v ever seen. orderd it one evening and it was here two days later early in the day
