Tough drills, but helps improve the game!

These 10 drills are not as easy to perform as they initially look! Makes you rethink the state of your game! What I thought looked pretty easy, turns out to be pretty humbling once you start actually doing the drills. Hmmmm, maybe I'm not shooting as accurately as I thought! : ) By sticking to practicing these drills (the book and video are a real nice combination to understand exactly how to perform them) I've definitely noticed an improvement in my in-game shooting skills. The scoring system that Tucker uses makes it actually FUN to practice the routine shots, as well as keep track of your improvement....and the positive feedback of improving scores makes you want to practice more. I've always been of the mind "why bother with practice....let's just play the game!" My game suffered as a result.....This product has cured me of that and now I actually enjoy practicing the particular shots that ALWAYS come up in a game......the drills ain't easy, but they're fun, keep your interest and will improve your game. Highly recommended.......Ozone has best price too! : )

Good Instructional Drills and the DVD is a definite help. Would recommend to a player starting out looking for basic drills to improve their stroke.

This DVD & Drillbook is by far the best combination for improving your pool game that is available. It is priceless information regardless of your level of playing ability. I will tell you that I have always been a dedicated student of the game of pocket billiards and have most every DVD ever produced and Joe Tucker is the most informative and thorough Instructor available on each and every DVD he releases. I have to say when he speaks you feel like he really has your best interest at heart. Congradulations & thank you so much for this superb DVD & Workbook that I KNOW will take my game to a HIGHER LEVEL.

There are a lot of diffrent practice drills you can do and you probly seen many. This book/cd combo is a little deeper than that. It give you a wide scope of drills to practice but also gives you a scoring structure to rate yourself and notice improvement. after doing these drills over the course of a few weeks i started seeing the patterns in games. gives you direction and structure in your practice routines.

I've been playing for a while and found these drills to be challenging but well worth the effort. When I first attempted some of them I didn't think they would be that tough. It has been a bit of a humbling experience but things are getting better because of the drills.

Ibwascreally impressed with the drills in the book, they are very helpful game improving drills. I was some what disapioted in the DVD. It has poor graphics and the same content as thevDVD. I WOULD LOOK FOR OTHERVDRILL BOOKS.

The book is great. There's a couple really solid drills in this book that will improve your game. I can see though, that after a while these drills are all going to get old and need a little bit of "refreshing". The back cover is a nice touch. It says, "Please Don't Disturb Players Practicing" and is made to set up on the table so no one will bother you.

Thumbing thru the booklet, I could see several drills that could be applied to several situations that I have the most trouble with. After reviewing the DVD, the Drills made far more sense, Joe has touched on virtually every major fault I have and I can see where many of the guys I know could benefit. Think I will keep the secret!,,Seriously, if you need drills that are not so dry and dull, get Tuckers Guaranteed Improvement package. Helps you concentrate better than anything else I have.

This is a very good DVD learning tool, however don't buy it if you are a novice like me. I need a lot more table time for this DVD's content not to totally overwhelm me.

I don't have a pratice partner so this is very helpful for me.I have a dvd/tv in my pool room so I can pause the video when taking shots.I use the book when not watching the dvd.

Joe Tucker's series of drills is an excellent resource to use to improve your game. The first few drills start out relatively easy but they get more difficult as they go along so there is something here for everyone. The scoring system he uses gives a guideline to measure your progress and the DVD shows him doing the drills and going over the trouble spots that most people run into. This is well worth the money.

This is an excellent product, however, be caution it is geared towards players that have the basics down and are ready to move on to learning more accurate cue position. Remember, if you don't make the shot, Your perfect position is useless.

These drill have several things in common but none more that developing focus. You have to pay attention throughout the drill, one slip and you miss. With these drill you can get the focus and confidence needed to succeed in matches. This is a great product, so great that when you are at the table you will here the words " focus my son".

I am a beginner and really love the game of pool! I needed a way to practice so I could play at a reasonable level and Joe Tucker really gives you the drills to get there! There is no sugar coating and the drills are effective! If you love to practice AND you want to get better----get this program. You will see improvement. Take it from a beginner!
Fine advanced-level training program

This training system is not for beginners, but I imagine it would help an advanced player improve his or her game if the drills are utilized on a regular basis. They require a good working knowledge of english and must be applied on most of them. If you have not mastered the use of english, then these drills will be a source of discouragement. Personally, I have set this program aside for now, until my general shooting abilities improve.
