price vs everything else
January 23, 2014
this cue is NOT bad but it is also not special. i am using it now and i love it + it looks cool.
the reason i gave it 2 stars is that when you compare the price with everything else that you can think of, its still too expensive. other than what it looks like, there is absolutely no reason to buy this cue at this price. if you think that its the coolest looking stick in the world, then by all means, buy it... but trust me, within a few months, you'll get used to it and you'll stop noticing what it looks like.
the good: the shaft is hollowed and has a uniloc joint which are both nice!
the bad: the grip makes it harder for your hand to slip. if you use the slip stroke or tend to let your hand slip for adjustment, then the grip is not your friend. more importantly, the grip does not last very long. ive had this cue for a couple of years now and the grip bothers me now coz i feel "bumps" now from where the grip's glue is coming off.
conclusion: the cue is OK but should be priced at around $120
