Lucky Cues by McDermott - Diamond Rings - Blue

I was delighted with the finish and the lovely stained blue color. I use the shafts of these types of cue to replace with different types of tips to learn about that aspect of the game. RIght out of the box this played well and was straight. The hit was medium hard and allowed great english and drawing Wonderful for a back up and as a lender but with this gorgeous stain in my favorite color I will keep a close eye on it. I ordered the 21 ounce and feel that the weight definitely added to the power, grace and even straightness of my shots.Excellent choice for a beginner who wants a solid hitting well made cue. These cues cannot be beat in this price range or even the hundred dollar range.

OK, was expecting a little higher quality in the finish, since I have purchase relatively inexpensive sticks in the past that are better. Stick also seems light, but that's probably just me.

Purchased for son, he loves it. Plays well, decent tip, usual solid McDermott hit & construction.
