I love the way it felt and played. But over time the grip fails. It started looking fuzzy the eventually started peeling. I know 2 other people that have this type of grip/wrap from lucasi and one is wrapped with electrical tape the other peeled the rest of the black grip off and is playing with it that way. I personally peeled the rest of the grip off and had a buddy wrap mine with leather. It added a little weight and isn't perfect but it's better tha that junk they put on it. Once it starts failing it only gets worse. And after paying that much for a cue I would expect it to last longer than a year. I now play with a meucci and gave my son the lucasi.

Great cue, bought extra shaft and weight bolts. Easy to change and plays very well.

This cue feels great. It shoots more fluidly than my last cue which was an older Lucasi w/ a metal joint. I didn't think I'd like the rubber grip, but after playing w/ it for a few weeks, I love it. I don't know about its 'shock dampening technology' since I'm not exactly banging the balls around, but it's very comfortable.

  • Great Cue with an unique grip

The wrap is very unique on this cue. After playing with irish linen wraps, It take a little getting use to. The wrap provides a dimpled rubber like / nonslip surface for those with loose grips. This cue hits firm, feels solid & well balanced, The uni-lock joint locks in place with several turns & stays tight.

I received my order from Ozone quickly. There was an issue with my cue tip, but Ozone corrected this problem quickly & exceeded my expectations on resolving the problem.

This cue hits well which allows me to ease off and concentrate on control and my stroke when breaking. A bit heavier than my old cue, it took a full session to get used to the weight, but I can now hit just as softly and consistently or better with this than the cue I used for 15 years

  • Great choice

I've had this cue for about two months. From the rubber grip to the quick connect joint to the 12.75 shaft to the Moori tip, I love this stick. I've been winning on pool tables for many years with house cues. This is my first purchased stick. It's a great choice. I love the classy wood grain and unpretentious look. I can tell how fond I've become of this stick when I pick up a house cue for a shoot and it just feels ... bad.
