For many years Master chalk has been the Official Chalk of the BCA Open 9-Ball Championships.

It is a favorite among many pool players. This Master billiard black color chalk has the texture that transforms smoothly and evenly to leather cue tips. It forms the proper coating to the tip of the cue to prevent miscues and insure pool player satisfaction. Available by the dozen.

The Black chalk shows less on my Purple felt than the purple chalk I was using.
OH , And Master is EXCELLENT chalk.
Don't get sucked in by Chalk that costs $ 10.00 for THREE CUBES.
    Try it, You'll See !

I had such a great experience with my first purchase, I now purchase all my chalk on Ozone.

I have been unable to find the black chalk in stores near me. I am so happy that I was able to find it here. Ordered it for a gift. I always prefer master chalk and it is difficult to find it in color other than blue and green in my area.

I bought the black masters chalk and I don't really have any complaints, it goes on OK and I don't need to chalk after every shot even though I should. I do regret buying black, my ferrule and shaft are suffering from my choice. Next time I will get blue.

I got this chalk about 3 days ago and I can tell the difference between this black chalk versus the blue one. For me, this black chalk tends to stand on my cue tip a lot longer than the other chalks. You have to try it out for yourself. I like the color, black is a bad--- color for a chalk. It's a great price for a dozen chalk from Masters. I've been using their chalks since 1986 and I love it.
