I've heard others say, and I agree, that the green Master chalk has a less gritty formula than the other colors. Don't have any idea why, but It's the only Master I'll use. Otherwise, I go with one of the more expensive chalks out there...

I've been using Masters chalk for 20+ years now & will continue to for another 20 if I'm that lucky! Holds well and price is great for such a good product.

This is the only chalk that I have ever used. It is of great quality. I do agree with some of the reviews that this green chalk is a little lighter in color then the actual green color of most felts. I might try the Spruce chalk next time.

They say It's cleaner, but it's a lot lighter on the tip so after a fresh chalk it flys on the table much more than the blue I've used.

I have always like the light green chalk . It seems to be a little softer and hangs in there better. I've been told that it's the same texture as the blue. But I don't think it is.

Master Pool Cue Chalk-Green Dozen, is a smart, and fantastic item to purchase. The chalk was delivered promptly, and applies well. Rarely cakes up on cue. Strongly recommend!

I think this is some of the best chalk hands down. I have used tan and now the green since I finally bought a table. I prefer this to silver cup due to the excess dust I get from silver cup

As it turns out, not the right color for my table. Spruce is closer. It's hard to tell from the pictures but the spruce is a darker green. This product, "Green", is a much lighter green. But very happy with Master's Chalk!

This is an excellent chalk. It readily adheres to the cue tip and since the color is a light green it is less noticeable on the table, floor, etc.
The younger players had a tendency of devouring the previous dark blue chalk and was evident throughout the Pool Room. The Master Pool Chalk is not readily apparent and appears to be more rigid and does not crumble quite as easy as the dark blue.

I always keep the billiard green on hand and it's always on my chalk holder cause someone else will always grab yours if it's laid on a rail.
Here's a good tip! Take a knife to a new cube of chalk and gently scrape the flat face and radius before first use. This removes the wax that is sprayed on the chalk during mfg. to prevent moisture buildup. Only do it to a new cube that you intend to use. This gives longer lasting and easier application of chalk to the tip. If you apply the chalk in a brushing motion (like putting on chapstick) the chalk will last longer as a cube and better chalk holding on your tip.
