Could be good for a young player, but I don't recommend buying for adults looking for a short cue for small rooms. Feels like a toy, not a cue. Should have returned it, considering the price.

I have purchased several McDermott cues for family members and myself and could not believe the price. The shipping was extremely fast and I was ordering only 1 week prior to his birthday so this was also an extra plus. I think I received in 2 business days. It has a slim grip and only weighs 8.5 ounces. A 42 inch adult short cue is much heavier at about 13.5 ounces, and more difficult to maneuver. The McDermott cue features top quality workmanship and attention to detail. It resembles a miniature professional cue stick.
