For the money, good spare cue.
By Dan from Centreville, VA on December 9, 2012

I used this in the beginning as a break stick. But ended up gifting it to a friend as his main cue. He went on to win 3 - 14.1 weekly tournaments in a row with it. It takes getting used to as it is graphite, and not quite as smooth as a wood shafted cue. Talc helps considerably.

Pool Cue

Same as my review of the burgandy cue. Great for a home pool room

Minnesota Fats Black Graphite Hustler Pool Cue ~ Very Affordable
By Eugene from Clovis, CA on May 22, 2012

This Minnesota Fats Hustler 19 ounce weight Graphite cue is very affordable. The black color is striking too. It features graphite bonded to hard rock maple incorporating a resin core Tri-Tech construction, nylon wrap grip and 58” overall two piece quality finished stick. It has a perfect nickel radius shaped Le Pro tip and standard 13mm taper shaft. The cue is a great value for the money, since the construction quality exceeds the competition’s sticks for the price.

Well made and can't beat the price!
By Brandon from Chicago, Illinois on January 17, 2012

For the price, this is a great cue stick and well worth the purchase. In the past, I have purchased inexpensive cues from department stores to have extra sticks in my rec-room, and the quality of this product exceeds expectations compared similarly priced cues. Very sturdy, well made, and can't beat the price!

Average Cue for a sub-average price
By Mike from Bristow, VA on October 9, 2011

Cue is very light on the shaft end, the butt is where most of the weight is so it is odd. I had a $20 Kamuri black soft tip installed on mine to try and get the feel of a great cue for cheap but it still feels like a cheap cue.
All in all, it's a good cue to take to bars or to have buddies who don't have their own cue play. But as a main cue I would definitely upgrade.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Disappointed
By Prima from New Rochelle, NY on January 25, 2011

With the Standard Le Pro Tip, this cue is only good for breaking. Wish this site explained and compared all the different cue tips they sell.

Great Cue for the Money
By Brophog from Chicago, IL on December 14, 2010

This is a great value for a 2 piece cue. Most 2 piece cues cost significantly more than this.
I bought two of them for practice purposes. I needed the equivalent of a bar cue, but in 2 piece form for transportability. They fit my needs perfectly.
If you're accustomed to higher end cues, then you'll notice this ain't one of them. It it were, everyone would buy cheap cues, instead. The joint is solid, the cue sights straight. It hits, though, more like a cue you pulled off the wall in a bar. If your expectation is to find a straight bar cue, that you know the tip will be maintained, then it is easily worth the price.

Very good value for the price.
By Kirby from VA. on June 24, 2010

I had never used a graphite cue but at that price I thought I couldn't loose anything. I was right. This is a very well constructed, well balanced cue. I was concerned about it's glide ability before ording but I can assure you there is no problem there. I don't even have to use powder or a glove. It also stays cool and the wrap and but does not get sticky. My only complaint was that it was not available in an 18oz weight. You can't go wrong with this cue.

I have six of these Minnesota Fats Cues for use as "house" cues. They are a great value and are certainly better than the majority found in most people's homes.
