Players Cue Pure X Series HXT10

This cue is a great buy for the money. I've played with Viking cues for over 30 years and have loved them. I decided to try the Players HXT mainly for the shaft. I've been pleasantly surprised on how good this cue plays. The Kamui tip is a great addition to the cue. The only thing about this cue is that you get extreme English with the Kamui tip. I've played with Talisman layered tips for the last 10 years or so and I am very satisfied with the action I've gotten from that tip. Be warned, the Kamui is unbelievable when it comes to the English.

This cue is not only a very good looking item, but it plays like a much more expensive stick. I usually upgrade my tip when I buy a new cue from Ozone, however, I saved myself $ 20.00 because it came with a Black Kamui medium tip with a low deflection ferrule. The Bacote and white inlays along with the Irish linen wrap make this cue a fantastic buy. It has all the high end qualities you would expect from a much higher price cue. its a great cue

Its great to use a straight stick. I was wining about 50% before this stick. The first time I used this stick out of 10 games I lost one.

I have five other cues, but much of the time don't want to use the "nice" ones, so it's good to have some workhorse cues, and this one is that for me. It functions very well, and I'm not sure that a cue 5X as expensive is gong to make any difference. The standard tip, Kamuii Black Medium, is what I put on my cues anyhow, so no upgrade was necessary. Just a very good cue for the buck!

This cue is worth every penny IMO. Inspection on arrival proved to be flawless. The design and artwork are what I would expect to see on a much higher $ cue. Some say that the cue makes no difference in the game, but I can definitely say that this cue (even if mentally), has improved my game ten fold. I've won the last couple of weeks in my local tourney and I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I have played pool all my life, had many sticks most of which were hand me downs, tournament prizes, and wal mart specials. lately I have just been using the house cues, but I decided to start playing tournaments again and went shopping for a stick. I am a very choosey consumer and didn't want to spend a whole lot of money so after shopping around for weeks reading reviews and comparing cues I came across this baby. it looks gorgeous, the design in the pic looks. burgundy but it is actually a brownish color. I inspect the stick and found no defects or dents when delivered, and it took 3 days to receive it. it gives you a very solid hit and feels great, my buddy whose cue was way more expensive was impressed with it as well, and I beat him 8 games to 3, which lead to a lot of me poking fun to put it nicely. add on the lifetime warranty and what more could u ask for? I do recommend especially for guys to upgrade the case to the 1b 1s. my sister upgraded the case to the circle one and it looks like a female case. to sum it up I am a very happy customer and will return to this site in the future, and if I purchase another stick it will probably be a players cue.

This new Players HXT10 Low Deflection Technology 19 ounce smoke birds-eye maple with bacote and white inlay pool cue is an excellent shooter. The Players cue in combination with the Kamui layered tip takes applied English very effectively and it's a very nice handling cue stick. I'm extremely satisfied with its performance.

I have been using players cues for over 20 years for one reason. They are the best cues you can buy for under $300.00. This is the best of the players cues I have owned.
