Awesome shaft!!
By Shawn Roberts from Willow grove, pa on March 2, 2013

I had bought and used a predator 314 shaft for my first cue, players cue. I have since bought a lucasi cue and fell in love with the thinner shafts and tip. I decided to get the z shaft and it was the best purchase I have made. This shaft has taken my game to the next level and I am making shots I was missing constantly. I love this shaft!!

Predator Z - awesome!
By Dan from Centreville, VA on December 12, 2012

Heard how this gives greater control over cue ball placement, and was worth the money. It takes some getting used to, as you really have to make sure your aim is true, but once you get the hang of it, your game will improve. Great replacement for my Lucasi.

A great shaft for top players
By Dean Selvey from Brooklyn, New York on December 5, 2012

Given the thin shaft and small tip, this is a shaft suitable for elite players only. Having grown up playing snooker, this is perfect for my transition to 9Ball BUT if I slightly miss-hit a shot, I miss. You have to be stroking well to pot balls but when you do, they fly in off the super soft tip I bought with the shaft. Highly recommended if you want a slim shaft for lots of action.

Really good feeling cue shaft!
By Kenneth from Riverside, CA on January 2, 2012

The 2nd Generation Z shaft doesn't seem to feel that much different than my 2nd Generation 314 shaft. but I seem to be pocketing more balls! I'm still learning some of the differences between the two, and so far, I like what I am seeing.

Great performance shaft
By Joel S. from Cromwell, CT on March 13, 2011

It is a great shaft, most of them, incuding mine, has a slight warp in the taper that came from the factory this way, but its so small you dont even notice it in play. There is a learning curve with high performance shafts, from flat laminated. There really is, it threw me really bad for a week or 2, but once i got used to the feel of this shaft and also this came on my ikon2 so i had to get used to the new whole cue. but great action and control, i like 12mm shafts this is a good fit.

Oops...I forgot...new shaft
By Heidi on November 19, 2009

Playing with this new shaft for the first time was interesting. I had to remind myself that I was playing with a different shaft, and had to hit a little softer. The english you can get is great, but it takes a bit of practice to control how much and how fast it takes.
Pros:
Makes getting and using english a lot easier than with a conventional shaft.Cons:
Takes english a lot faster and harder than a conventional shaft, which makes it a bit hard to control at first.
