This devise works just fine, I just place it on a table to hold the cues when not shooting or re-racking
the balls.
When I,m done playing,I just pick it up and place it in a drawer.

I bought this cause I got tired of my cue hitting floor while racking. It does the job. Set on the edge of a table and you can lean you cue up against. It seems a little pricey for what it is. The dip in the top can be used a coin holder for quarters.
