I startede playing apa league two nights a week andsoon needed a shaft cleaner. I bought this and the tiger x one. This one wooks well but is a little smaller than the tiger but a little less agressive.

Turns sticky, grimy, dirty shafts into perfectly smooth, almost new feeling shafts. Takes only the top layer of material off, so you are left with the smooth under wood. I think the best part is that it is washable. Just run it under water and the dust comes right off leaving it looking new and ready to reuse.

A good little polishing mat. The tan side with its very fine texture polishes the shaft very well. The brown side is a little more course and is great to knock down high spots or nicks on a highly used or neglected shaft. I so far do not regret this purchase. But a good polishing cloth is still necessary to just sheen up the shaft because this mat is a grit and removes a minute amount of material every time you use it and should only be used when the shaft is too rough for a cloth to do the job.

It's Small

Ok let me start off by saying that this is a lot smaller than I had imagined, approximately 3" diameter by 1/16". Now with that said, this is simply an amazing product. I purchased this along with the shaft polisher and used both to clean up the four house cues I have with my table. I started off with 10 strokes on the rough side, 10 strokes on the finer side, and 10 with the polisher. Let me just say that these cues are now as slick as any of the more expensive cues I have ever used.
Now with that said, I'm not 100% sure that this product doesn't remove just a fine layer of the cue. After each cue I cleaned up, the Q-Wiz had a light dusting over it. Now these cues have probably never been cleaned so that may explain it but I would just be cautious. But in reality, you would probably rarely have to use the rough side if you take care of your cue.
I would have to say that the Q-Wiz and shaft polisher are just a deadly combination. I would recommend both products and together are less than $10.

After about 2 months of not cleaning my Predator Z2 shaft, I was noticing that it was starting to show chalk on the cue and also starting to lose some of the slickness. After reading the reviews, I purchased the Porper's "Shaft Polisher" in addition to this product. The piece of paper that comes in the Q-Wiz says that it doesn't take anything off the shaft's diameter but I'm still weary because it is sand paper after all. I won't use the sandpaper after every game, damp towel and dry off + Shaft polisher should get the job done but it's nice to have this in your bag when you need it every now and again.
As far as the Q-Wiz, the sandpaper took off all the grime and I used the smooth side and finished up with the Porpers shaft polisher. My shaft is now back to new if not better than ever. I definitely appreciate that you can wash this product and get multiple uses out of it. Will be buying a couple more to have a backups. My recommendation is that I wish it was a little bigger.

When I ordered the product, it had gotten lost in the mail. I did not contact Ozone because I knew it was not their fault. The next time I ordered another product several months later, I mentioned the problem about the Q-Wiz getting lost in the mail months ago. Even though they did not have to, they send another one free of charge!! Even after I told them it was not their fault!! You cannot beat costomer service like that!!

Good 2-step play prep. Wish it were a bit bigger- double the diameter would be ideal. Still, doesn't rate removing a star. Wash it and it appears new again. NOTE: do not use the coarse side regularly as it will change you shaft's diameter. Use it only for nicks or when the shaft is really dirty.

You can wash it in the sink and use this cleaner over and over again. I use the polishing side more often than the abrasive side, however. I think the abrasive side MIGHT take off a miniscule amount of wood so I would caution against using it too much. It's a great product, though!

I use this everytime before i play and after to clean my shaft. I dont like to use powder because its too messy and can be a pain in the butt after a while. When im playing and my shaft starts to get a little sticky i use the q-wiz and in seconds it smoothes and polishes the shaft so its nice and smooth when you play.

After about 3 months of use of my Predator Z shaft, it was starting to lose its really nice "glide" that I liked about it. Never having used a conditioner product before, I purchased this and the M8. I must say - I was absolutely amazed. Solo, I think this is a nice tool, although not quite as effective as the M8 (and much smaller, which is a small, but not ignorable, drawback). However, in conjunction with the M8, these two tools will make your shaft the slickest shaft at the pool hall or bar, hands down. Definitely worth picking up.

Some folks don't like to use any sort of abrasive for their shaft, and I used to feel the same way. However, this is only micro-abrasive and results are outstanding. Great xmas gift for the team.

After four months of playing almost every day with my viking cue my shaft really needed a cleaning. I wiped it down every night but still not quite enough. My Q-Wiz came today and I just used it, and all I have to say is wow. It took every single bit of chalk, grim, and stuff off the shaft without reducing the diameter at all, then smoothed it so now the shaft is as clean and smooth as when I first got the cue. I'll be ordering more of these soon. And I tried the washing it out thing, took like five seconds and it's almost dry after about ten minutes. Thank you ozone for another awesome product!

This OZONE Q-Wiz pad has a fine abrasive on one side and a smooth polisher on the other. It works very well and it's more convenient than using a cut piece of 1200 grit sandpaper and a polishing cloth; although you could use that method or Q-Wiz which is more practical.

I purchased several in order to take advantage of the bulk prices. Gave them out to team mates and friends for Chrismas Gifts. EVERYONE just loves them and thanks me repeatedly for the kind gesture.
Use them to clean your cue shaft, run the under warm water and they are like new again. The Q-Wiz has almost eliminated the need for me to use messy talcum powder while stroking.

I really didn't know what to expect when ordering this, but really want to get rid of some bumps and roughness that my cue acquired after a few drops. Well, it's really fine sandpaper, I'd guess 600 or so, on one side and a smooth wipe cloth on the other. It did take care of the dings and roughness, but also took all the shine away from it. Fair trade off, as far as I'm concerned. Still, this is just a small piece of plastic backed sandpaper that is about ten times the price of emery cloth several times the size at the hardware store.

This is by far the best shaft tool I have, and I've been experimenting with different products from Ozone. The rough side is not as abrasive as you might think. You can use it without damaging your wood shaft, and it gets the chalk off like magic. The polishing side is unbelievably effective. Just a few light strokes, and your shaft is as smooth as the first day you got it. The one complaint I have is that the blue ink from the print does rub off really easily and can transfer onto the shaft a tiny bit, but it's not a big deal. If you get one shaft tool, it should be this. Check out Inside Pool's "What's in the Case" videos on YouTube, and you'll see that many of the top pros use the Q-Wiz.

Ozone's Q-Wiz works just like its advertised, giving you a smooth cue shaft from just one use. I have only had to use the smoother side of this two-sided item (the other side has a slightly greater degree of grittiness). However, it worked well on my cues.
