This glove is very smooth, fits very well, and makes shooting much easier because of the smoothness, although if your not used to using it for a minute, you will miscue just because it slides sooooo smooth. The black is actually very shiny on this glove, don't know if other gloves are shiny like these, but they work great.

Replacement with a large glove

The glove was fine, but it was too small. I ordered a medium, but I need a large, so I sent it back with a receipt of my purchase. That was two weeks ago and I have yet to receive a replacement. I have made two purchases with you in the last 6 weeks and while I was pleased with the first purchase ( Element Cue), your promptness on the second leaves something to be desired.

This is my first pool glove. I have never used one before this Sir Joseph and I love the feel. I have very oily hands and have always used a dry hand towel to keep my hands dry and my cue clean. I don't need the towel anymore!! Thanks Sir Joseph and Onzone.

I ordered this for a friend of mine with slightly smaller hands than mine and he loves it. I definitely recommend figurig out what size you need before you order. I have a large that fits my hand perfectly, but I can't even get my hand in my friend's medium.

This is my second Sir Joseph glove after I lost my last one at a match. For a guy with slightly clammy hands depending on the season, it's nice to have a reliably smooth surface inside your closed bridge. I'd never play a match without one. Powders and chalks might work for some, but I find they make more of a mess and don't look half as cool as being the Michael Jackson of the pool table (it won't teach you to moonwalk though). The only downside to this glove is that the seams aren't as well stitched as they could be and are starting to come apart in a few places after 6 months of use. I'll probably just stitch this one back up, but even so, for $15 a year for new gloves, these would still be well worth the improvement to your pool game.

I was pleased with the feel and the look of the glove. The only flaw in this purchase was the lack of being able to try the glove on due to the wrong size glove. The medium was too small for my hand. It is small more that it should be. I had to exchange the glove to an XL.

Inconsistent Sizing

I own 3 different Sir Joseph gloves, 2 of which are adjustable and 1 is the classic. The medium classic fits fairly tightly, but I have to constantly re-adjust. The medium adjustable fits far tighter than the medium classic, particularly in the fingers. The large adjustable is simply far too long in the fingers.
They all do their job, and that is to make the bridge hand slick. If you have sweaty hands, even a non-perfect fit is better than powder. The only complaint I have is that you may need to buy several to get the sizing right.
Ozone has a great price on these, and with low shipping, it isn't too much of a hassle to throw several sizes into an order to get the fit the way you want.

A definite improvement to my game

I am a 25+ year player who was not blessed with long slim fingers. As a result, my closed bridge left a lot to be desired. When a 'hard' stroke/closed bridge was needed, I found myself exerting too much friction on the shaft, resulting in insufficient follow - through; which I would over-compensate for by squeezing my rear hand causing my entire stroke to go into the toilet. Long story short - I tried more expensive and poorer quality gloves from the local pool hall, and finally ordered the Sir Joseph's from Ozone. They are cheaper, and last at least 4x longer than the 'one size fits all' gloves.

Small but awesome

While often overlooked, gloves can take your game to the next level. They allow you to have a more fluid stroke helping you shoot better. Also if you're playing with a personal cue it keeps grime off the shaft, meaning less time spent maintaining you cue and more time shooting pool!

For that tag price, the quality is not good enough, It is not bad it would do you the job just right, but I was expecting much better quality especially that there are high quality gloves out there that are a fraction more expensive.

This is a very nice product, but the description to determine hand size is a bit off (I should have purchased a large) The length of your fingers is more important than the width in determining glove size. So if you have long but skinny fingers, go one size up from what the metric here recommends.

Im not new to this brand of glove.. I liked the Classic glove better but this glove is thicker and seems to be made a lot stronger..
