Very handy

Stick the rod in your pocket and the chalk is there where you need it. Not hiding with the change.and pocket knife.

a little bit of bulk.
By Alexander from Missoula, MT on February 9, 2013

Purchased this with some kamui .98 chalk,
the holder is a little big for the upscale chalk, and i had to fit in some plastic to hold my chalk secure. Though it seems to fit master chalk cubes pretty well.
love the aerator, sharp, and sturdy, but the spike is a little bit ridiculously large.
I tore the chalk cube off and mounted on my own key chain, haven't had problems yet.
but size is still an issue when considering this item.
Not Pleased
By James from Calimesa, CA on January 7, 2013

This product holds chalk fine and the tip pick decent at best. The problem I had was the strength of the metal and rubber that conected the two pieces. Mine lasted about a three days before the metal ring streached out and it fell apart. Then I used a stronger key ring to put it back together, annnndd then the rubber ripped. I probably could have tried to fix it again but I figured I should just get a different one.
always at hand

You can fix this for a penny
By Brandon Montgomery from Fayetteville NC on April 6, 2012

I used the tip stik chalker for about three days before the scuffer pins pushed back so it could not be used. I took the chalk out and pushed from the chalk side and the scuffer came out . I taped them back into place with a hamer and put a PENNY inside so the pins would have something to rest on that wouldn't give. IT WORKS NOW LIKE IT SHOULD !!! Brandon Montgomery NC

Good value

Poor design
By Craig from PA on October 24, 2011

The design is poor. the chalk does not fit in all the way and it is very bulky to have bouncing around your pant leg, the idea is good on paper but it is not good for practice.
chalk all over
By Wes from Bonners Ferry, Idaho on August 12, 2011

If you like chalk getting all over the place, buy this. pick on the back doesn't work very well but is a good ideah.
Could be better...
By Allen from East Millinocket, ME on June 29, 2011

This is a great little rig as far as function goes, But the plastic handle is a little to big to keep comfortably in your pocket.

Great Chalker
By Bob from California on May 29, 2011

I like that the chalk doesn't go all the way down and cut away areas ...it makes it easy to remove the chalk when it wears down. I didn't have a problem with chalk getting on my pants like the other review said. Larger tip pik part is much easier to use and won't scratch your ferrule or stab your fingers like the other tip piks can.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
works great perfect tool

Don't buy it, unless you like chalk on your pants.
By Mike T from Amherst, NY on December 24, 2010

The concept sounded good, but the product is flawed. The piece that actually holds the chalk is not deep enough to fully cover the edges of the chalk (see photo). The chalk protrudes and when I slip the post in your pocket the chalk swings around leaving deposits of chalk on my pants. Buy another chalk holder, I have a few and the one that stays in my pocket best is the bullet (cartridge) style and the "Cuetec Pocket Chalker Tip Pick".
I wish I didn't spend my money on this poorly designed chalker!
