Excellent tip for the money

Does not mushroom and holds chalk well. Control of the cueball is easy at any speed, whether
drawing or following on a pool or carom table.

Triangle Cue Tips
By John from , Loris SC on March 4, 2014
Changed to this tip from a screw on tip and I really like the feel it gives me.Must say I was pleasantly surprised,to me it's like having a new stick(really like the feel).Don't have to do maintenance on it,holds chalk well for a hard tip.I'm in an APA league have played guessing 20 plus games plus my table at home no problems at all.Still has original shape as best I can tell.If there was a draw back it would be the fact that it is hard( have no problem with English) and players looking for a soft tip this would not work. But price is great, requires little or no maintenance,(my view) and I like the feel.Remember Ozone Billiards said it is a med/hard tip.I think it is a great tip for the money

Nice tip for my backups
By Solsurf from Big Easy on June 19, 2013
I use a layered tip on my OB1 shaft bur I have a couple of 48" cues that I use for a close wall when the ball is near the rail. This tip shapes well and hits great for these cues. Much better tip than what came on the cues.

Thanks Ozone

Only the Best
By harley from , davenport fl on March 28, 2013
A good triangle tip is compared to all the layered tips. Players everywhere say my ......... tip plays like a goos triangle, so why pay 15 or 20 dollars for a tip when ozone has the best price , only for 85 cents. absolutely the best. Ask shane van boening or johnny archer, they both use triangle tips and there both world champions!!!

Good Tip
By Alex Mann from Whitewater, WI on December 13, 2012
This tip is just the right hardness for me. It has good grip on the ball, but yet doesn't mushroom on hard shots. It is a pretty thick tip too, so I'm expecting it to last for a while. Great product.

Durable and Great Control
By Auguste from , on August 25, 2012
I have grown fond of these tips for there great attributes; They are hard enough to hold shape and resist mushrooming, great feel and control with both soft and hard shots, creates great english, and hold chalk great. I have switched to them from Le Pro tips because to me they play better and are better chalkers. Definitely a better performing tip than there price reflects!!!!!

One less month, five times better performance
By Jeremy from Aiken, SC on April 26, 2012
It can be hard to figure out whether the triangle or le pro tip is the best standard tip, but I have to give the edge to triangle. They may wear a little quicker, but their grab and feel is only a little lower than a standard tiger layered tip, and a lot cheaper. These make great back up tips, or if you don't want to spend 20-40 for layered tips will be some of the best standard tips you can buy. I highly recommend them especially for people who play in bars more than regular halls

I would recommend this item to a friend.

I'm a everest person but I got this tip for a friend to replace the original worn out tip and was extremely surprised that even as hard as it was it still grabbed and applied so much English! Still wouldn't change my everest for it but for 85 cents it was a great bargain!

Triangle cue tip
By Anthony from Saugus, CA on December 16, 2011
I usually play with an extremely hard cue tip. However, on certain shots I needed more "grab" to execute extremely log draw shots, etc. This medium-hard tip served the purpose perfectly.

Happier with LaPro!
By Stephen from Spring Grove, IL on October 23, 2011
Only used a couple but much happier with LaPro. Seemed very soft and didn't hold it's shape well. Softer is supposed to produce better english but LaPro still outperformes. Harder to shape too, the leather seems very stringy and soft.

Great Value...
By kevin from ma on October 16, 2011
.85c Hits just like any bar room stick and cheap too...

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Strong
By Craig from Buckeye, AZ on October 9, 2011
It is a cheap tip for a cheap cue, but it is a great tip for the price. I wanted to check out a harder tip without spending $20, just not as hard as a Pro. This is a 91 I think and a 84 in a layered tip should be what I'm looking for. I am getting very good results with this one.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

I agree.
By Norman from Glen Burnie, Maryland on July 26, 2011
I prefer the Le Pro over the Triangle. I have experimented with the Triangle, Le Pro, and Elkmaster and prefer the Le Pro overall. There is nothing wrong with the Triangle. I guess it is just preference.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Good all around tip
By Jeff from Berkeley, CA on July 11, 2011
These tips shoot a little quicker then I'd like, I'm just a bit addicted to the Moori Med. They WILL put english on the ball, no doubt about it. They will, however, launch a cue ball faster then you expected sometimes (I was doing stop shots from across a 9' table which aint easy). I'm so used to the softer hit of a true med tip that if I don't think about it I can screw things up with a faster speed of a hard tip. Not really the tips fault but this aint med by any stretch, it just grips a lot more then most hard tips.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Awesome tips
By Brian from Ft. Lauderdale, FL on June 16, 2011
I bought these tips to replace the Le Pro tip on my GW cue. I wanted to try out a new tip and i didnt want to spend 15 plus dollars for a layered tip. I am very happy with my choice to use triangle tips. they retain their shape very well. (I play about 4-5 hours, 3-4 days out of the week and I barley have to shape the tip).

I would recommend this item to a friend.

great feel, great price
By Daniel from , on March 2, 2011
for the money, i think this is the best feeling tip out there, and you can get a lot of action with them too. though you may need to replace them more frequently, the price makes it worth it if you know how to change your own tips.

Traingle Med/Hard Pool Cue Tip ~ EXCELLENT QUALITY

Best non layered tip
By Travis from Lake City, FL on February 9, 2011
You get more than what you pay for these tips, but then again you wouldn't expect anything less from the people who manufacture Master Chalk... If I were to leave a layered tip this would be it, all of my house cues will soon be supporting triangle tips... They never mushroom and this is after probably 400 breaks or more, I sometimes just break and re-rack for a full day which is 8 hours or more for me... So if you have a problem with the tip, I wouldn't blame anyone but the person that put it on... If Ozone puts it on for you and you don't like it, then you yourself might be a little mushroomed...

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Triangle Tips
By Tad from Claremore, Ok. on January 26, 2011
I have had a great experience with this tip. I used layerd tips for years and love them; however, as a person gets older, as in my case, he finds the layerd tips to be not so forgiving. So I have gone back to a great basic tip.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

THIS TIP MAKES A SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT ON MY CUES
By Mary A from nyc on January 21, 2011
Solid great hit no vibration or squirt and they are priced right. Put these on some of my sneaky petes and the differrence in control and play were awesome. Particularly nice for the travel cues and my own house cues but plays well enough for competition. A real winner.

A Good Quality Cue Tip
By D from Wyandotte, MI on April 3, 2010
The Triangle pool cue tip is a well made tip. It doesn't lose it's shape, even after numerous games have been played with it. This tip also does a good job with regard to chalk retention. Thank you, oZone Billiards, for the quick delivery and lowest prices around.

Pretty good tips. I would definitely buy them again and you can't beat the price.
Pros:
Affordable, durable, play well
Cons:
None that I can see

Best tips for the price
By Dan Werner from Roanoke, VA on November 18, 2009
The triangle tips are hard, they last a long time, and they hit well. Much cheaper than some of the other tips I have tried and I like the feel of these the best.
Pros:
cheap, hard, lasts long
Cons:
Tip is a bit high when you first put it on and you need to really shape it for a while.

Triangle tips
By P from Fl on October 16, 2009
I'd Rate these tips around a 7

Old Reliable
By Dan from Birmingham, AL on October 5, 2009
Call me old school, but I love these tips. It's really a matter of opinion but I say most the hype surrounding the new layered tips is just that, hype. Assuming you play a lot of pool, you can buy a ten year supply of these for the cost of one layered tip. They never seperate, the hit is very consistant throughout the life of the tip, you can put a ton of spin on the ball and champions played with them for years. After the first couple weeks of play they hold their shape very well and rarely need maintenance.
Pros:
Affordable, consistant and proven over a long, long time.
Cons:
They aren't layered if that means anything to you.
