I find the viking cue joint protector to spin on and off with ease. No problem with room in my case for the added inch of length on butt or shaft. And it draws attention as to how cool it looks. Great choice for added protection of the threaded portion or your cue.

This is a very nice product to protect your Viking cue's joints. It is not only made of a light, durable plastic, it is offered at a affordable price. It also bares the VIKING logo on the caps. Cool item.

I personally believe that no matter whether you have a Minnesota Fats or a Meucci, one should always buy joint protectors to help the cue last as long as possible. 9.60 may seem a bit much for some, but given the fact that vikings are expensive cues these are essential in my opinion. Solidly built, a good label, and a brand you can trust. Buy them and you won't regret it.

I would first like to say that I was pretty worried about buying JP's with plastic threads however once these bad boys arrived in the mail I am officially worry free! The build quality on these is great for what they are, not flashy but to the point. I especially love the fact that the threads on the shaft JP's are short so they are very quick to take off and put on. The Viking brand logos on these make them easier to identify if you have more than one cue in your case. The added length and tapered in diameter makes these great for those using a cue case that opens from the top and has multiple sleeve/pockets for shafts or butts. Represent that Viking love with these!
