I use less stroke speed for the same results on positioning next shots. The overall control of shots is great. The i-2 has improved my overall game Thank you

This shaft is the x-factor , the control I get is incredible. I never knew why people describe power in a cue. This shaft is why, when you shoot with it everything is amplified. If you can shoot easier , and get more the better.

I broke the shaft on a Lucky Cue that I won in Las Vegas, and have a McDermott Cue with a slight warp in the shaft. I bought this shaft as a replacement for the Lucky Cue but it also fits the McDermott. So I now have two shooter cues with great response, very accurate, and less stroke to get it. Shaft came with Kamui Black soft tip, which I love as I am partial to Kamui products, so I use less tips of english and get similar if not better results. already saving for the other two Intimidator shafts.

If you like McDermott's G-Core shafts, you will love their intimidator shafts. The i-2 is a 12.75 mm. shaft that is close enough to a regular 13mm. that you won't feel like you're shooting with a pencil and topped with a medium moori tip that is easy to shape and holds chalk very well. Buy an i-2 shaft and shoot like a pro!

Was searching for additional shafts for my McDermott cue and found the Intimidator line. Read the reviews and the info on the McDermott website and decided the I-2 was what I needed to step up my game. I've had it for about 3 weeks and can already see a difference in how I'm shooting, positioning the cue and a more solid stroke with very little deflection. The Moori tip is great as well. This shaft is everything I was expecting and then some.

I would rate this 4 out of 5 stars for one reason only and that is it's just not the right shaft for me. This is an ideal shaft upgrade for players who are well trained in ball control and use of English. For an intermediate player however this is probably not the way to go as you will play much different with this type of high performance shaft which takes a lot of getting used to and for me I just prefer the G-Core shaft over the I-2. As previously stated however, I do think it is a good product it is just for a more experienced player to utilize properly.
