A New Spin on Carbon Fiber Shafts
Traditional carbon fiber shafts are typically made by wrapping resin-impregnated carbon fiber sheets around a steel form. As the shaft’s diameter and taper change, these sheets overlap, which can create variations in wall thickness, stiffness, and radial consistency while requiring sanding to achieve a smooth finish.
The Viking Siege Pure Performance Shaft takes a different approach. Using a continuous winding process, carbon fiber and resin are applied simultaneously in a single operation, eliminating sheet overlaps. This results in a more uniform structure with improved radial consistency and a smooth, sealed outer surface that stays cleaner and glides effortlessly across your bridge hand.
To complement the shaft, Viking developed a specially formulated high-impact SUPER ferrule, engineered for exceptional durability, responsiveness, and long-lasting performance.
